Judge John Durrenberger announced that Washington County will no longer be paying out monies for the coyote bounties in 2020. The county has been doing this for over twenty years and did not budget for it in 2020. If you have bounties and get the paperwork turned in to the County Treasurers Office by 3:00 pm today, December 31, 2019, they will be paid.

Notice of 2020 Tax Year Proposed Property Tax Rate
 

ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2020, WASHINGTON COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE
TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.
