To obtain a marriage license, please schedule an appointment by calling 979-277-6216. The marriage license application fee is $81.00 if one or both applicants are Texas residents with valid identification, or $181.00 if neither applicant is a Texas resident.

  To search for individual(s), click on Washington County, then Public Records, then Land.  Enter Volume and page as found on the above index of Bill of Sale.  Our hope is that these records can assist families in their genealogical research.

ASSUMED NAME FORM (fillable) - also called a DBA form (Doing Business As); all owners of the business must sign and have their signature notarized;  The cost to file an Assumed Name form is $25.00. 

ASSUMED NAME WITHDRAWAL FORM - to withdraw name and owners of business; all owners that signed the original Assumed Name must sign and have their signature notarized.  Cost to file is $25.00.

  • The Washington County Clerk’s Office is pleased to offer property owners a free filing alert service designed to help safeguard against potential property fraud. Subscribers will receive notification within 24 hours whenever a document bearing their registered name is recorded in the County’s Official Public Records.
